Cruise Into Hallmark For Father's Day and Kiddie Car Classics #lovehallmark

I am a Love, Hallmark Ambassador and as such I receive products to review from time to time. I received the item mentioned below to review but the words and opinions are solely my own.

#lovehallmark

For many years my Dad was a car guy. For as long as I can remember we had neat and unique cars in front of our house. I still remember so many of them and how much fun we had going in them.

I have been told of the neat cars they had before I was born and when I was a baby, but one of the early ones I actually remember was a strange little car dad bought for Mom. We lived in a cul-de-sac on base when he brought this thing home to her. It was a sort of "roundish" car with one door. ONE. The entire front of the car was THE door. She drove it around the cul-de-sac for a moment and the battery began to smoke and caught fire. I don't remember that one being around after that!
Hop in Sweetie! Let's cruise!

We had a Pinto wagon that I will always remember. You wouldn't really think a Pinto could be cool, but ours was! Dad painted it a great shade of blue and the areas inside of the wood-like trim was metal-flake blue. Man that thing sparkled! There were others after that.. old 50's and 60 's model cars that I loved. He even had an Edsel for a short time! Over the ensuing years he has created the most fabulous paint jobs on vehicles! Although he had to get out of that type work, his appreciation for a great car is still there.
Santa, I'm pullin' a NEW sleigh this year!

My Dad never really collected things like people do, but there are two things he liked a lot and has collected. Hot Wheels and Hallmark Kiddie Car Classic Ornaments. We bought him all kinds of cars to commemorate every kind of celebration. We always made sure he got the Kiddie Car ornament and he only missed one out of all them. The very last one. I think it was a Mustang. It sold out so fast and in our small area, there weren't very many. As soon as it was sold out the prices online shot up and it was just out of reach.
I was unbelievably excited to learn that Hallmark has brought the Kiddie Cars back in a new form. Scaled models with moving, working parts! I received the 1958 Chevy Corvette to review and this thing is absolutely beautiful and so gosh darn cute!
Let's go Woody! You don't need a match, but it would help if you had feet!

The steering wheel moves and turns the front wheels and the pedals move, making the back wheels roll! These are quality, sturdy cars that any fan of Hallmark or car lover will enjoy. I really can not get over how great it looks! Each of these magnificent cars includes a card with info about the car as well as the talented artist that created the model.  Did you know the Corvette was named for a naval warship?
Sunday June, 21 is Father's day (eek!!). If you are looking for a gift for your Dad or the man in your life, Hallmark has you covered with the Kiddie Car Classics as well as other gifts and cards that will help you  tell Dad how much he means to you and your family and the ever important, "I Love You".
